Let’s discuss what one should visit or see in Beijing (Peking) for sure. First of all, you should decide how much time you devote to it. Here, in Beijing, there are so many places to visit, so, you need for at least one week for sightseeing. When I was in this very place, I decided for me one of the most important curiosities. These are the Tiananmen Square, Gugun Nu, the Tsinshani Park, the Heaven Temple and the Summer Palace.
The Tiananmen Square is considered to be the heart of China, as well as the Forbidden town or Gugun Nu. These places are very recognizable, as they are one of the biggest areas in the world, built almost six centuries ago. If being in China and not see this square and the palace complex, it would be equal to be in Paris and not to see the Eiffel Tour. These two places are worth visiting. They are so beautiful, so wonderful, as I even can’t describe it. Just go and see it.
Northwards of the Gugun Museum, there is the Tsinshani Park or the Fine Landscape Mountain. At its southern part, there are ancient Jundinmani gates, remained from the old city wall. There are some other places, like the Gugun Palace, the Diagnmani Gates or Gulow (the Drum tower). In the center of the Tsinshani Park, there is the basic and the tallest point of Beijing, a 43 meters mountain. When there is a good weather in Beijing, from this very point you may see almost all the capital with its attractions.
The other great place is the Heaven Temple, Tiagntagni, built in the year 1420. This is one of the most known architecture monuments, where the “wall of returnable sound”, the Heaven Altar and the Reaping prays hall are situated.
And the Summer Palace, a park complex of 290 square meters. The Chinese population established here an artificial lake, surrounded by communities, temples, pavilions, etc. One of the first pavilions for the rulers’ resort where built here in the12 century. Along the lake, there is a 728 meters covered gallery, where you may have a walk in every season and weather.
So, I propose you now to see my photos from there, I think they will complete my story.
